    Leslie Collins, Head of School at Covenant Academy in Cypress, TX has received an invitation to speak at the 2017 Society for Classical Learning Annual Conference.   • Finding Joy in Education

    I came across a short Latin phrase recently that described the educative process well. John Amos Comenius, in the 17th century, wrote in his Latin textbook, "Si principium difficile, medium facile, finis iucundus." In English, we might say, "If the beginning is difficult, the middle will be easy, and the end pleasant." As a teacher of languages, I found Comenius's statement accurate and insightful.
